Villa Santa Pilar

A Cozumel vacation rental Villa with freshwater pool located right on the beach, Santa Pilar is a covey of 4 Cozumel villas comprising a total of 8 bedrooms located 3 miles north of town. The villas cannot be rented separately.

Villa #1 features a beautifully furnished living room and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The dining room has a fantastic view overlooking both the pool and the ocean. The living room has a double sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and its own bathroom with view of the pool and sea. The second and 3rd bedroom each have a king-sized bed and sea view. The 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds (these can be made up as a king). The only thing that lies between Villa #1 and the beach is the pool. 

Villa #2 and Villa #3 are seafront duplexes. They are each 1 BR/1BA units. Each duplex holds 1 king bed and 1 convertible chair bed that can be used as a child's bed.

Villa #4 is a 2BR/1BA cottage. It holds 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. This is the only villa that does not offer sea views.

All the Villas are fully air-conditioned.

You also have the option of a food service plan. Our cook, Eli, consistently gets rave reviews from our guests.

For children and non swimmers, Santa Pilar offers easy access to the sea. The beach is a mixture of sand and limestone. Right in front of the property 3 steps have been carved into the stone leading to a very shallow sandy bottom. (When the tide is low the sandy bottom is above the surface). There is some of the best shore snorkeling on the island just 20 yards to the south.

Just a very short stroll to the south and you will find pure sandy beaches.

This home offers Direct Satellite TV in English in the living room of Villa #1, as well as in the bedroom of Villas 2 & 3 and one of the bedrooms in Villa #4. Villa #1 also has VCR, CD Player and Free Internet Access (bring your own laptop), Santa Pilar also has 3 safes for your valuables and free local phone service in Villa #1 (AT & T operator assisted long distance available).

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 12% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.

2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.

3. We prefer your rental reservation be paid with check or money order.
   We accept VISA or MC with a 5% handling fee.

4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.

5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. There will be a US 150 handling fee on all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.

6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.

8. No pets allowed.

9. No smoking inside the property.

10. Three night minimum stay.

11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.

12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.

13. Your vacation home includes maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $30 per day. For other additional services and general information please refer to the Area Info on our website.

14. Directions and entry procedures will be send out two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.

15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.

16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
